(LOS ANGELES) -- Prince Michael Jackson, the eldest son of the late Michael Jackson, has joined Entertainment Tonight as an on-air correspondent.

"I'm looking to become well-rounded as a producer, director, screenwriter and actor," Jackson told ET's Brooke Anderson about his new gig.

Prince's first assignment was a press junket for Disney's upcoming film, Oz the Great and Powerful, a re-imagining of the 1939 classic The Wizard of Oz. Prince's father portrayed the Scarecrow in the 1978 musical remake, The Wiz.

Anderson said Prince acted very mature for his 16 years. "That was all thanks to my dad," says Prince. "He raised me right."
