Jacoby Ford is a very fast man, matter of fact at the 2010 NFL Combine, he clocked a 4.28 40.
Ford was drafted by the Raiders in Round 4 with the 108th pick overall in the 2010 NFL Draft. Ford has flashed big play potential, but injuries have kept the potent speedster sidelined.
A foot injury Ford suffered in November of 2011 forced the receiver to have surgery, and he re-injured the foot during the 2012 preseason costing him the entire 2012 campaign.
The Raiders are looking for him to return full speed to help get their passing game heading in the right direction. Ford feels the injury is behind him and there is plenty of time to get back into the groove of things.
"It's not quite 100 percent, but it's coming along really well," Ford said, via Vic Tafur of sfgate.com. "I am back to running routes and feel pretty good about my straight-ahead full speed. And I have been cutting on-it.
"We just have so much time left that we're taking our time...
