Raiders sign LB Kevin Burnett

The Oakland Raiders announced today that they've signed former Dolphins linebacker Kevin Burnett-

Burnett has started 16 games in each of the last three seasons, including the last two years with the Miami Dolphins. His brother, Kaelin, is also a linebacker with the Raiders, having joined Oakland as a non-drafted free agent in 2012 and playing in six games after being signed from the practice squad.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pound Kevin Burnett, entering his ninth NFL season, has played in 120 career games with 59 starts for the Dolphins, San Diego Chargers and Dallas Cowboys. His career totals include 17 sacks, 20 passes defensed, four interceptions, seven forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and three interception returns for touchdowns since entering the league as the Cowboys' second-round draft choice (42nd-overall) in 2005.

The 30 year-old Burnett recorded 110 tackles, 3 sacks and 1 forced fumble.
